Wyse Z90QQ7P Thin Client shows "running out of available memory" error message and reboot itself.
It keeps doing this every several minutes after restart.
I tried to use USB to re-image it, but after press P at start up. It did not see booting USB option
So my company is about to upgrade pretty old Wyse Thin Clients, Z90SW. We have the WES7 Conversion Kits for 50+ of the thin clients, but only received one software disk for all of them. Of course, once I try to follow the steps of the WES7 Conversion, the one software file I need in the Z90D_S 4GB_8GB WES7 Conversion Image folder can't be copied off the CD. I receive the error when trying to copy par1.img. "Can't read the source file or disk" is the error that occurs. So I believe that the specific file is corrupted. I've been searching online for the specific img file, but was unable to find it. Does anyone have a link to the flash conversion file or does anyone have any other solutions for this issue?

Having an issue setting up Task Schedule to run a task that opens up Internet Explorer upon log on. I have logged into the admin account, turned off the write protection. I have created the task and it tests fine when I run it manually. When I log off and it automatically logs into the User account. It does not run. It is set up to trigger when any user logs in. Any ideas?
We have 10 Wyse 5010 (Dx0D) running Windows embedded 8 standard 64 connected to touch screen monitors.
We manage them via the Dell Wyse Device Manager 5.5. I push a simple device configuration which puts the device into appliance mode and launches an remote desktop connection.
When the device connects to RDP, the user taps in the credentials box but the touch screen keyboard does not pop up.
Everything has been working fine up until today. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Also when the Wyse unit is rebooted, the configuration disappears and I have to push from WDM. Is this normal behavior?

I am using a Z90DE7 with the subject graphics card installed. With the graphics card installed no image will display on the monitor using any of the outputs from the graphics card or z90. Does any one know why this is?

I have some Wyse D90D8 that is supposed to setup and work Microsoft VDI. Anyone can point me to a guide for me to setup the thin client? Do i need to join the ThinClient to the Windows domain since it is a WES8 machine?

I bought 2 Wyse D90D8 thin clients, but when rolling out I noticed the WLAN driver isn't installed. Where can I get the driver for this card ? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Using Sanddisk 32GB USB Flash Drive.
USB built on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.
In USB Firmware tool, selected "Windows Embedded Standard 7", "Update or Push firmware", contents are OS Image, BIOS and CMOS. Deselected "Preserve data partition". Then select "BZB0_0855_4096.rsp" file.
Boot device from the USB and got the "Error while validating security key error code 233".

Citrix Receiver Install on Z90D7
We have purchased a Wyse Z90D7 for evaluation with our newly setup Citrix environment. The Z90D7 came with version 3.xx of the Citrix Receiver installed and after configuring it I was able to connect to our host. I tried to update to version 4 of the receiver and can not get it installed/working properly.
We have never used any type of thin client like this before so its possible something simple has been over looked.
I have disabled the FBWF file lock and logged on as an admin.
Another thought is to reload the firmware and use the 3.xx receiver, although Id prefer to use 4.x.

Is it possible to clone C90LE7
Hello!
We have a large number of already configured C90LE7 thin clients. We have several more bare thin clients that need to be deployed soon and were wondering how to clone one of the existing thin clients. Is that possible? All thin clients are currently running WES7.
If someone could provide instructions on how to create an image from an existing thin client and also how to push it to the unconfigured units I would appreciate it.

Wireless NIC will not connect to SSIDs after PUSH IMAGE, Must Uninstall/Reinstall
We created our image using Wyse USB Firmware Tool 1.15 on C90LE7. Once we tried to PUCH the USB Image to a new client, the client will not connect to any SSIDs Wirelessly w/out uninstalling and reinstalling the Wireless NIC Care Driver. We even tried to create an Image W/Out a Wireless NIC driver, and let Windows "find it". This worked, but we could still not connect to our many SSIDs (secure or open) w/out a reinstall.

Thin Client D90D7 ramdomly crashing
Good morning.
We have a bunch of Wyse Thin Clients D90D7 in our company, and we are experiencing random crashes from time to time, not always in the same client.
I have noticed that when this issue happens, the computer crashes completely, we have to reboot it manually. Also, it seems that the last event in the Windows Event Viewer is usually related to the Windows Modules Installer.
We had one client that crashed today and the last registered event was this:
The Windows Modules Installer service entered the stopped state (Event ID 7036). After that the client crashed completely.
Has anyone experienced the same issue to help me?

Installing .NET2 on a windows 7 Standard D90D7.
Is it possible to install .NET2 on a windows 7 Standard embedded terminal (D90D7).
It is an "add feature" option but that fails with a message saying that Adminstrator has disabled features.
Is there a way around that?
We are using X90M7 Mobile Thin Client laptops. How to you setup FBWF to allow users to add and delete wireless networks without having the user setup the network every logon.

Downgrading IE on D90D7
Hi,
we recently purchased several D90D7 until to use in one of our facilities. Unit is installed wiht Windows Embeded standard 7 and came with IE10. Turns out a key support site of our will only work with IE8 and they have no plans yet to support IE9 or 10.
What (if any) is the easiest way to downgrade the IE version on our D90D7 from 10 to 8? I thought I woudl ask first before embarking on building a new image etc
Dx0D: Time rolling back in BIOS, drops off domain

Our Company uses Wyse model D90D7 with Windows 7 embedded standard. We have a couple hundred units connecting to terminal servers via RDP.
We've had a reoccurring problem where the Wyse unit receives "cannot logon, no logon servers available" when starting up (we have a auto-logon script that logs onto the domain, then the users hit the RDP shortcut to start their sessions)
We discovered the Wyse units where dropping off the domain because the time was incorrect, the BIOS reports the time 4 hours (to the minute) behind the current time. When the BIOS is set to the current time, Windows still reports time as an hour off. To fix this we are reimaging the Wyse units.
Anyone else having this issue? I have done a bit of internet searching but can't find the issue anywhere. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Wyse Z90DE7 - problem with settings

This is my first post so please be patient 
I've a Wyse Z90DE7 Thin Client to test and I noticed that configuration is very strange. I connected device to Active Directory, logged on device with AD credential and everything looked fine. When I restart a device all settings gone. I had to add to AD again. Where can I disable this settings ?? Maybe this is special version Windows 7 Embedded Standard, I don't know. I would be grateful for any help.
Need to package & install Adobe Reader via WDM
I need to package & install Adobe Reader 11.xxx via WDM and having troubles with this.
Does anyone have an .rsp file written for this already and is willing to share?
Every way I've tried, it either fails in wdm or 'completes' but the application never installs. I've tried Adobe Reader 11.0.02 - 11.0.05 using the .exe installers w/the silent install switches, etc.
Installing via a USB Stick is not an option. Pushing the software is a must.
Any help is appreciated.
